The rules of
the session.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Velentis Labs for GymLock and related services. By downloading, creating an account or using GymLock, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your licence to the iOS app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a matter Apple controls, the Apple Standard EULA applies.

If you do not agree, do not use GymLock. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree where required.

2. What GymLock does

GymLock provides workout planning and logging, app shielding using Apple's Screen Time frameworks, focus scores, progress tools, nutrition and recovery tracking, reminders, cloud sync and optional social ranking features. Some features require an account, device permissions, internet access, a compatible iPhone or an active GymLock Pro subscription.

Feature descriptions are not a promise that every feature will always be available on every device or in every region. Apple platform rules can limit which apps can be shielded and how background features behave.

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised use. Your username must not impersonate another person, infringe rights, mislead users or contain unlawful or abusive material. We may require a username change or restrict an account to protect users or the service.

You are responsible for activity under your account except where caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Do not share passwords or authentication codes with us or anyone else.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

GymLock Pro is offered through auto-renewing App Store subscriptions. Available plans, local prices, taxes, trial eligibility and the renewal period are shown in Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm.

• The annual plan may include a three-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The weekly plan does not include a trial unless Apple explicitly shows otherwise.
• After any trial, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and renews for the selected period until cancelled.
• Apple charges the payment method linked to your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial or current period to avoid the next charge.
• Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Deleting GymLock or deleting your GymLock account does not cancel Apple billing.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store rules at reportaproblem.apple.com.

We may change future subscription prices or plans. Apple will provide any notice or consent required for an active subscription.

5. Fitness, nutrition & safety notice

Targets, progress suggestions, exercise information, estimated nutrition values and supplement reminders may be incomplete or unsuitable for you. Check food labels and professional advice where accuracy matters. Do not rely on GymLock for emergency, medical or dosage decisions.

Exercise carries risk. Use appropriate technique, equipment, supervision and judgment; stop if you feel pain, faintness or unusual symptoms. Seek professional advice before changing training, diet or supplements if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication or are unsure what is safe.

App shielding is a focus tool, not a safety control. End a session or use available device controls when you need access to communication, navigation, emergency or safety-critical apps.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse GymLock. In particular, do not attempt to break security, access another user's data, reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where law expressly permits it, overload infrastructure, automate abusive requests, upload malicious material, manipulate leaderboards, evade access controls or use GymLock unlawfully.

We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict features or accounts where reasonably necessary to protect GymLock, users or third parties.

7. Your data & content

You keep ownership of the workouts, entries and other content you create. You give us a limited licence to host, process, copy and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve GymLock and comply with law. The Privacy Policy explains those activities and your choices.

If you opt in to leaderboards, you permit GymLock to show the username, ranking and limited score and region information described in the Privacy Policy until you opt out.

8. Changes & availability

We may update, add, remove or discontinue features to improve GymLock, respond to platform requirements, maintain security or meet legal obligations. We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Internet, device, Apple, Google, Supabase and other provider issues can affect features outside our direct control.

You are responsible for maintaining compatible device software and reasonable backups or exports where GymLock makes them available.

9. Warranties & liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, or liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, GymLock is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses arising from personal consumer use. Any limitations in the Apple Standard EULA also apply.

10. Suspension, cancellation & deletion

You may stop using GymLock at any time. You can delete your account through Settings → Account. Account deletion removes associated GymLock cloud data as described in the Privacy Policy, but it does not cancel an App Store subscription.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create risk or harm, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers and liability limits—continue to apply.

11. General terms

We may update these terms as GymLock, law or platform requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Continuing to use GymLock after revised terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not, stop using the service.

If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a reorganisation, financing, merger or sale, provided your rights are not reduced.

Applicable law and courts depend on mandatory consumer rules where you live. Nothing here removes your right to rely on those rules.
